Sabrina's work in the Vanderpool lab is a collaboration with the Slauch lab to identify and characterize small RNAs that regulate expression of genes required for Salmonella invasion.
In addition to her expertise in sRNA regulation of Salmonella virulence, Sabrina is the lab expert in science puns, baking, and secret santa trickery, and enjoys hanging upside down on aerial apparatuses in her free time.
